Well, the only way any of this makes any sense is if they are either merging the hotels, or simply just moving some of the MOD jobs to Singapore/Malaysia. Perhaps because it is cheaper to hire people there. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
I think its because the cheap people there too..
It doesn't say that they are going to work on Habbo.com
Sulake wants most/all of their staff to be fluent in English no matter where they work.

Almost every Dutch Moderator speaks fluent english.. Why would they hire them via this way?
Habbo.com doesn't need any dutch moderators, they are searching voor dutch/english speaking people who live in singapore for moderation in .nl. Because it's cheaper for sulake.

That is not the issue. We all know that everyone applying for a job at Sulake as a MOD or any other position needs to be fluent in both English and the native language of the country they are applying in. The reason why we are reacting to this is because of the fact that Singapore nor Malaysia have Dutch as their official language, yet that is what they are searching for; someone who can speak and write fluent Dutch, and is residing (living) in Singapore and Malaysia.
That means that they are either looking to move some of the MOD positions at Habbo.nl to other countries (perhaps to save money), OR that they are planning on merging some of the hotels again. The first possibility seems like the most likely one, but we dont know anything for sure yet.
I asked a Mod if there are comming new mod's to Habbo NL.
The answer was that there are no new mods comming to Habbo NL.
Is this true? I don't know, 'cus they can say that when there not allowed to talk about it.
The most common answer on habbo.nl is: "There is no information about that". So you should never ask a mod about these things, because they are all going to deny it unless habbo.nl officially announce it via the homepage.
Now it seems that every chance is taken to bring back the merge rumours :S....
I guess they just want cheaper mod's.. That means that some of the real dutch mod's will be fired.. and that sucks.
Many europeans do reside in Singapore (as well as multiple nationalities.) So I don't see why Sulake should not target them. I guess this is why all of the SG office staff kept their jobs during the merge; To cater for a growing area for Sulake SG.
It says no where that the moderators are for Habbo.com. If anything, they're trying to get all moderators world wide to work at one location, so it's easier to manage, so they'll find x-speaking moderators in Singapore that can easily commute to the Sulake offices so they may speak directly to managers and so forth.
As for the English, every Sulake staff needs to know how to speak English; doesn't mean that the new Dutch moderators will be for .com, if even they are, it'll be to fill in. :)
The moderators of the French hotel all reside in Singapore. In the future, Sulake will centralize his moderators in Singapore to save on wages. It's a former Canadian moderator who said that.
All moderators will be dismissed one by one, country by country, and France was the first to test this method.
[quote=A226] Yes we already believed that.. so you say the French SOS are Singaporians? Because some people believe they are from Marocco... (or something) ;') PS: Whats your habboname
@Yucca : I'm pretty sure that the french moderators come from Singapore. At the same time that SOS- come to Habbo.fr, a moderator from Habbo.ca said that Sulake preparing to replace the French, Canadian etc.. moderators by singapore moderators.
The staff of Singapore (Habbo.com.sg) has never denied the rumor, but never approved ... They had something to hide and it bothers them.
Moreover, no offer of employment has been published for residents in Morocco.

Ok! We do know that there are SG Moderators for .COM... Think this will happen to NL too. ;)
Sulake is just some faggot people only thinking about money from little childeren.
Sulake are looking at the plausibility of the movement of all moderation to Singapore.
Well I don´t really think it has to deal with the money thing because the job offer shows us a salary from abouts 2000 up to 2300 S$ a month which is like 1100 to 1300 euros a month. The Moderators in Holland will get paid 10 euros an hour and indicates approximately about the same amount of money based on a part-time job (12 up to 20 working hours a week).
[quote=A232]
Actually it is 900 - 1100 euro's a month...
Maybe the whole "every habbo is gonna be .com" story is true?
LOL 'enjoyment'
Habbo sucks with all the new things
I don't get this, but stil, if there opening jobs for denmark? :S
It's just for when habbo.nl is closed.
Much dutch people go to habbo.com.
Habbo can better help if moderators speak a bit dutch :)
Nope, Then they look for More mods in NL! Then is the hotel NL 24/07 open. You know?
But, I know that the marge is coming ;)
just saw a dutch advert for VIP on habbo.com
the end is nigh
I think It's because there are many dutch habbo's in habbo.com
Superwover, Habbo.nl
It's funny i never thought an online world would be looking for cheap or slave labour...
Lol slavework. They only pay $2000 a month that is like 1000 euro a month. -.- and all this requirement I can do it ;o. I can speak & write Dutch. And I also do speak Chinese wahahhaa.
I want to be im dutch.
