The green room is kinda stupid, might as well make a proper unique new room... Or make it a proper backstage for theatredome

green room and stage IS NOT available to normal habbos and will not be, so maybe VIP visits are coming back? who knows, but they are not meant for normal habbos

behind the right curtani there's a room teleport tile (arrow) you can see the edge of it when you'rein the room

I really dislike the new picnic area, look how small and cramped it has become. The sitting trees are gone, the swing and stumps are gone. All we have now are the ugly bulbous trees, hopefully they don't appear in the lido. Was it that hard to make it the old size and use the old picnic furni?? I pray for them not to mess up the lido.

The old picnic was much bigger. It had a seaside view which is reflected in hotel view. It had trees you could sit on and you could get to the top of the room. It had a tent so no one could hear what you were saying when you were in there. It's space also allowed for private corners where you know you won't be seen on someone else's screen. It was just much more colourful and less cramped. The new one is super small, like a third of the size. It leads into a hallway which is really weird. It's walls dont look like hotel views'. It's more like some hidden corner of the hotel than the picnic area. No feeling of privacy it's like everyone is around you and can see your convoes. Basically a discount budget version of the old one made by a designer who thinks he has the liberty to ruin the greatness of the old rooms because he is a senior designer.

Honestly i didn't like the old picnic. it was too much like a guest room. ill never forget the original picnic that was zoomed out, loaded instantly and didn't have actual furni in it. that was the best version of it. the one they brought back was just a big guest room that took a minute to load and was laggy, i like the newest one better cuz it is more like the original, its an image with almost no guest furni and that's what i like

I just wish they didn't use a background toner, the shoulda left it black or drew a sky wall like the old public rooms

How did you take the photo, when the "Green room" isn't accesible for users?

My opinion: Why make new rooms when you can keep the old ones?

Yup, this designer is just changing the rooms for the sake of change. They could have kept more old elements of the room like size and memorable features. But no, everything has to be shrunk for mobile. It's not like we need to see all the room at once on mobile, we zoom in when we are talking to someone so the size of the room really doesn't matter it could be kept the same.

I don't think there would be memory issues as long as the walls and floor is drawn. The Theatredome is bigger but it's fine. They could have built the floor first using the old picnic furni, copy paste, draw the walls and seaside background and convert it to an image ready to be used...

Maybe. I don't think it's as easy as you imagine it is or they would have done it differently. Memory and resource management on IOS/Andriod has got to be more finicky than flash which already had issues.

The only reason they made it smaller was so that it would look just right for mobile. But it doesn't need to look right, Habbo is still meant for desktop and they shouldn't sacrifice it just for mobile. Also the making the room the actual hotel view size would take time. But as I said, if they were to build it using the old picnic furni and later make it all into an image, it would take no time at all.

We all know why the theatredome is so well received but not the picnic. It's because the Theatre is still in its original room structure and made prettier and bigger. The picnic on the other hand has been made smaller and the structure has changed too

Why would the green room be for visits, hardly anyone can fit in there especially is a celeb was in there
