An update on achievements

Hello, community! I’ve seen a lot of you asking for the return of some archived achievements. I'd like to clarify a few things and provide some information and updates on the issue.

(DIAMOND) WHY SOME ACHIEVEMENTS ARE ARCHIVED:

Some archived achievements are currently not able to be progressed because they require certain furni or features.

However, they ARE visible to those of you that have progressed them in the past, and obviously you keep the progress you've made with them. More info about archived achievements is here.

These are all archived for now because the features aren’t yet implemented in the Modern client.

(DIAMOND) OTHER ARCHIVED ACHIEVEMENTS:

The ‘Stickie scribbler’ and ‘Swamped by stickies’ achievements will remain archived because that furni’s functionality has changed – you can now reuse them so it becomes a much less meaningful achievement.

We also decided to archive the room decoration achievements because just buying something to place in a room doesn’t seem meaningful from a game design perspective.

(DIAMOND) WHAT WE’LL DO NOW:

Lots of you have asked for crafting achievements to be activated, so the basic crafting is one achievement that we will enable when we can. At the moment the team is focused on fixing the Marketplace and getting 0.21.0 out, so it might take some time. Please try to be patient with us. Note: this won’t include secret crafting recipes as this functionality still needs to be added to Unity.

Given that soccer functionality is now added to the client, we’ll also be prioritising the activation of these achievements: ‘Soccer scorer’ and ‘Soccer host’.
