I've found something that could maybe be the beginning of the return of Hobba's?!
In the external_flash_texts of Habbo Canada i've found this:
badge_name_SHA=Super Hobba
badge_desc_SHA=Super Hobba
badge_name_NWB=Newbie Hobba
badge_desc_NWB=Newbie Hobba
badge_name_HBA=Super Hobba
badge_desc_HBA=Hobba
No badge is uploaded for SHA yet (NWB and HBA we're uploaded years ago) but there we're no lines in the flash_texts about these badges but as you can see the name and the description of the badge says enough.
Will the Hobba's really return? :O

UPDATE:
To wrap up this news article, it seems that the SHA is not the Super Hobba badge and is just a mistake on Habbo's part. If anything does pop up though, you guys will be the first to know.

Hobbas are better because well.. mods are good too that isnt it but my reason is Hobbas are old players and know alot about the Game and have been normal too.. i think they can handle it better.

At the hobba_things: if they aren't in flash, i guess it's old.
I think its only the text when you put the mouse over that badge. Its not new, only a badge-update.

Unlikely. In Australia, external texts read:

badge_name_NWB=Silver badge
badge_desc_NWB=Newbie Hobba badge
HBA, NWB are redundant - there for archive purposes. However it is rather interesting that SHA is not uploaded and the badge name is "do not use". I'm guessing "do not use" means that moderator privledges are still assigned to the badge. SHA not being uploaded could suggest that Hobbas might be coming back, but it is by no means any indication that they are.
Perhaps replace Habbos Guides !

The SHA badge was supposed to be Shabbolin. The Japanese/Chinese introduction of those furni.
Canada has misinterpreted this and named the badge (actually it's just a code, cause the Shabbolin badges were never uploaded as SHA) 'Super Hobba'..

Its not just CA, is other countries too, and some (such as AU) even say not to use this badge.
Ze keren niet terug, alle badges van oude versie zijn gewoon overgezet naar nieuwe versie. En mod's ontkennen het ook dus denk niet dat ze terug komen.

Why must everyone jump to the conclusion that "Hobbas" are coming back every 3 months? The program failed, it's gone. Let it rest in peace!
@Skunk: The program didn't fail. The supervisors failed to get proper Habbo's to do the job.
Some of the hobba's were quite corrupt, so to say.

In UK Gamedata the badge_desc_NWB was updated today.
badge_desc_NWB=Hobbas were volunteer moderators.
Hobbas were volunteer moderators!
And the NWB and HBA Badges were updates 3 days ago.
They were deleted 2006 and now are they back! :o
