Azerion bets Habbo on online casinos

Amid the growing popularity of online casinos, Azerion has added one of its main brands to virtual slots. Habbo is now the theme of a gambling game. Habbo5k is the newest game developed by companies in the Azerion ecosystem, and is available exclusively on the MyJackpot.com website, owned by Whow, a subsidiary of Azerion. MyJackpot lists hundreds of other online casino games, and is classified as an 18+ site. To access Habbo5k, you need to register a user account.

The information was given by our colleagues at Pixels Emotion, and we confirmed it.

According to the website, the game was recently added to the catalog. The oldest files for the game date back to October 30, 2024, and it is currently available in at least six languages: Polish, German, Italian, English, French and Spanish.

The game's dynamics are exactly the same as those of a slot machine: the player must use their chips to "spin the reel" in the hope of obtaining a combination of three identical symbols on the vertical or diagonal lines, thus increasing the chip balance. To start betting, it is not necessary to buy chips, but if there are not enough chips for a new bet, it may be necessary to buy them from US$ 0.99. All rewards in the game are merely playful, that is, without real value.

The roulette symbols are a duck, a ducket, a coin, an emerald and a diamond. The game also features images of the Habbo NFT project, arcade furniture and features Frank as the highlight. The classic sounds of Habbo's Jukebox are also present during the game.

This is not the first time that Azerion has developed a new game using Habbo as a theme. In February 2019, Habbo Clicker was launched as a casual game that simulated the experience of running a hotel. At the time, the game was widely promoted across the nine communities. This time, however, the launch was low-key. There was no statement from Sulake or the companies involved in the project. It is not even possible to find the game publicly without first registering on MyJackpot. This discreetness indicates that Sulake may be trying to keep his community away from gambling.

Gambling on Habbo remains banned

Sulake, which once established a policy to distance Habbo's image from gambling, is now giving up the intellectual property of its main product to a gambling game. The change, however, does not signal any change in the Habbo community, where gambling should remain banned and those who break the rules are subject to a permanent ban from the hotel.

Sulake has been making efforts for years to prevent Habbo communities from being used as casinos. To this end, it has disabled the functionality of furniture that can be used for gambling, such as the lucky wheel. According to the Habbo Team, casinos are prohibited in many of the countries where Habbo is located, and when allowed, they are restricted to adults only.
