Xmas 16 - Designers comment

Habbo published an interview with the designers that told how it was the preparation of the furniture for the campaign, check out:

Q: DESIGNERS, ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO CHRISTMAS? EVEN THOUGH IT’S NOT EVEN NOVEMBER AT THE TIME OF WRITING?
MrCroissant: I am very much looking forward to Christmas. All the friends, family and food, I can't wait!
Cromsnosehair: Yes the decorations are already for sale in the supermarkets (happens earlier every year) so I'm looking forward to a long vacation.
Kukuyit: I love the feeling of being warm and cosy at home during Christmas, when the lights and decorations go up it just looks so pretty and magical.
Elementary_Kage: Christmas is a great time for me to lock myself away to draw all day and only come out for social events! I am looking forward to lighting up some scented candles to fill my room with Christmas smells.
Sparkaro: Yup, I’m looking forward to doing lots of lazing around, marathoning through TV shows and playing video games! That's what the spirit of Christmas is all about!

Q: THIS YEAR, YOU DECIDED TO BUILD THE FOUR CHRISTMAS BUNDLES YOURSELVES. HAS THAT BEEN ENJOYABLE? IF SO, WHY?
Kukuyit: Yeah, building Santa's Office and the Elf Hangout room was fun for me; I haven't needed to build a full room with a creative hat on since I was playing The Sims back in my teenage days!
Elementary_Kage: I really like the four room bundles the guys produced this year, each one feels so cosy and christmassy. They're full of really appealing furni that made the promotional material and artwork fun to make!
MrCroissant: It was a great way to test all the new furni. Any little issues or glitches quickly become apparent when you are trying to build a room with new items.
Sparkaro: I had fun building the Dining Hall and Common Room bundles! It made a change because usually we just design the individual furni, but this time we were able to have more control of how the bundles themselves looked.

Q: ANY FURNI YOU WORKED ON THAT YOU PARTICULARLY ENJOYED DOING, OR ARE PROUD OF?
MrCroissant: I'm quite pleased with how the balcony turned out. How well the switch height function works with it was a pleasant surprise. The matching fireplace was nice to work on too. Designing the chair and sofa in a way so they look comfy and cosy was also fun.
Sparkaro: I’m pleased with how the magical creatures turned out, as that was a feature I planned out during pre production. I made the smokey chicken, phoenix and dragon trio *smiley face*. Another furni I enjoyed working on was the Rufus Cat Hat - I’m happy I can now walk around on Habbo with a cat on my head!
Kukuyit: I always enjoy furni I put character animations in, so my favourites to work on were the Wise Owl, the little pony called 'Mini', the Hoonicorn and the Voltaic Deer.
Cromsnosehair: I enjoyed animating the Sassy Elf - she's so 'bouncy'.

Q: WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS FOOD?
Elementary_Kage: I love turkey soup, cranberry sauce and most of all the delicious potatoes cooked to perfection. I looooooove potatoes.
Kukuyit: Mmmm. Spiced mulled wine and trifles...
Sparkaro: I love mince pies and ginger bread cakes, yummy!
Cromsnosehair: Pigs in blankets!
MrCroissant: I love every bit of Christmas dinner. Pigs In Blankets have got to be my favourite though.

Q: DRAW YOURSELF DOING YOUR FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS THING - WHETHER IT’S RELAXING BY THE FIRE, GAMING ALL DAY OR GUZZLING DOWN RIDICULOUS AMOUNTS OF FOOD!
Kukuyit: Best Part about Christmas? Unwrapping presents!!
Cromsnosehair: I drew myself at five years old singing carols.
MrCroissant: Taking Ralph the dog for his Christmas walk after dinner is one of my favourite things to do. Gotta burn off a few calories before more food later on!
