Sulake Digital Artist Presentation

The fansite CafePixelado found the material presented at the Sulake designers' lecture on 17 June at the Gamejam event held at the University of Portsmouth, England.

Jennifer Wu and Kelly Gardiner, both alumni from the University of Portsmouth and digital artists at Sulake, talked a little bit about the company, the game, their work, challenges and trends.

The University of Portsmouth has published the video and slides presented.

So they admit to actively ignoring their older user base and ignore male users in preference of younger female users? This coincides with an over-representation of females in their team. Nice sexism there Sulake.

So am I right in saying Habbo hires weak women incapable of tackling the problems Habbo faces and would rather design petite furniture? No wonder the user base is in such decline.

wow exciting! Maybe more girls play the game an thats where the money is...so they obvs are gonna cater more towards the ladies...it would be great if they had more stuff for the guys ofc..my bf is always jellz of my looks and is bored with the shit that always comes out for girls...
