I wanted to write this earlier, but with the #SaveHabbo movement I decided to wait for a bit.
First of all: Happy New Year! Hoping it'll be a good one!
Second of all: as you might have noticed things have changed. Just to be clear: we're not done. Our old site was getting too old, some parts were still from 2009 and never updated. Since our old webhost decided to double the prices I decided to leave them and move to a new server. Migrating the old site to that new server would be very hard so I decided to go live with the beta site that's been around for the last few months. Please check this blog for more details.
All our news articles are here as well as our active users. Old news comments will follow soon.
General roadmap:
- Bugfixes (user profiles don't load for example)
- Install our monitoring tools on the new server (furni and badge scanners)
- Enable password reset and login for existing users
- Enable registration for new users
- Add clothing section (furni + clothing items)
- Improve badges page (add search and pagination)
- Improve furni page (add search)
- Add furni, badge and clothing to general search results
Later we'll add support for multiple languages, profile editing, more furni details (international names, dates, costs, LTDs released, etc). There are also some pages missing, Dump and Habbo Staff for example. These will follow soon.
A new design is planned for later this year :-)
